Frequently asked questions
Answers are general and meant for the decision stage. They are not an opinion on your case.
General information only, under Israeli law. Not legal advice and not a substitute for individual review.
- Is the information on this site legal advice?
- No. This is general information about Israeli law. Advice is given only after your facts are reviewed, and an attorney-client relationship is not created merely by reading the site or submitting a form.
- How long do I have to file a claim?
- Deadlines vary by the type of process and the circumstances, including limitation rules. The site does not calculate a date. If there is a concern about urgency — call, and do not rely on a general timetable.
- Does a bad medical outcome prove malpractice?
- No. A complication or an incorrect diagnosis is not in itself malpractice. The review examines the standard of care, damage and causation, usually on the basis of records and sometimes an opinion.
- In a road accident, do I have to prove who was at fault?
- Under the Road Accident Victims Compensation Law, compensation for bodily injury usually proceeds on a path that does not require ordinary proof of fault. It is still necessary to check whether the event falls within the statutory definition.
- Does a National Insurance claim replace a tort claim?
- Not necessarily. These are different paths. Sometimes only one of them is relevant, and sometimes both should be reviewed. Do not assume that one path cancels the other.
- Can I send a medical file through the form?
- No. Do not send medical records, identity documents or injury photographs through the ordinary channel. If material is needed, we will explain in a conversation how to transfer it.
- How much does representation cost?
- Fees are not published on the site. If we represent you, the terms will be agreed with you personally and not as a website price list.
- Is every enquiry accepted for representation?
- No. Sending details does not create representation and does not guarantee that the matter will be accepted. After a short conversation we will say whether we can review it further.
- Is it better to call, use WhatsApp or fill in the form?
- All three channels reach the same office. A call or WhatsApp is faster when there is urgency. The form suits people who prefer a return call. Do not send a medical file on any of these channels.
- Does the office have a Tel Aviv branch?
- No. The address approved for publication is 5 HaNarkis Street, Mevaseret Zion. A photograph from a Tel Aviv court does not indicate a branch there.
- Why are areas from the old site missing here?
- The new site presents the torts scope of Shmuel Paniri Law Office. Family law, inheritance, employment and real estate, and a profile of Advocate Rami Paniri, were not moved into this public scope.
